It's back...

Our power is back on. Hopefully it will last this time! I am waiting to restock my fridge. We are happy to start getting back to normal. I go back to work tomorrow and Maddie will probably be back at school with me on Tuesday. She told me that she misses her friends and her teacher.

Last night we lost electricity again!

We've Got the Power!

We lost electricity Saturday and just got it back Thursday night. We suffered some damage due to Hurricane Ike. Our roof lost some tiles and 3 sections of our fence blew down, but we are blessed it was not more. Our thoughts are with the Benys family as they wait to see the effects on their beach house.
Thankfully Uncle Mike and Aunt Laura let us live with them while our power was out! Thanks!! We love you and are so excited for your good news!!

What a Fun Weekend!

We had a great time this weekend with friends and family!

Saturday started with dance practice and then a swim party with our dance friends. The girls had a blast! Thanks Shana!
Saturday night Maddie went to dinner with her MeMaw and Papaw. After dinner they took her to the pet store to get her very own hamster! That's right...I said a hamster! She adores it! Her name is Sarah Anastasia-we call her Sarah Ann. I have to say she really is cute and Maddie is learning some responsibility too. Mom and Dad are not taking care of the hamster!
Since Maddie was with her grandparents, Mom and Dad got to go to dinner with our friends-Chad and Corrie, Mike and Laura, and Elizabeth and Chris. We always have so much fun together. There is certainly never a dull moment!

Sunday was also a very busy day! We went to Alexa's birthday party in the Woodlands. Maddie loved it because it was at a bowling alley. We continued the party at a Japanese restaurant. The girls loved watching the chef cook in front of us. Noah was as cute as ever-notice him sucking his big toe in the picture! What a cutie pie! He is such a good baby!
We got home just in time for a bath and a book before bedtime.

90210

Did you watch it???
Last night Royce and I watched the new 90210. Well, I watched all of both episodes and Royce watched a few short minutes of them with me when he took breaks from cleaning the Bullitt.
I loved the original 90210! I even watch the reruns now from time to time.
This new 90210 is quite dramatic! Which is probably why I will watch it no matter how bad it is...at least until it gets cancelled!
I like seeing some of the old characters, like Jennie Garth and good old Nat at the Peach Pit. This is probably what draws in the old timers like me!

Labor Day Weekend

We had such a fun weekend at the beachhouse in Galveston! Thank you Benys family for inviting us! I will post some of the many pics soon! It was nice to spend time with family.
