Through the Eyes of a Child

Tuesday night we went to the circus! We had so much fun! It was so exciting to watch Maddie's expressions and reactions to the circus! Royce and I both felt like kids again. I have heard alot of people talking about how expensive it is. We recommend to everyone-it was well worth the money.

Emma's Birthday Party

Maddie's sweet friend Emma celebrated her 8th birthday party on Sunday. Maddie had a blast at the party! The theme was "Movie Under the Stars." The rain caused the movie to be moved in to the garage. The kids had fun eating hot dogs, cupcakes, pop corn, and sno cones!
For those of you who don't know, Ethan (Emma's brother) is Maddie's "boyfriend". They let us know last night that they will marry each other when they grow up, but they would still live with us. Kids are so cute and funny!! Emma, Ethan and Maddie play really well together. We are lucky to have great neighbors !

Swimming...at last!

Well-6 weeks after my hysterectomy and I can finally go swimming! Needless to say, Maddie is thrilled! She has been so patient and helpful during my recovery! We had fun at the pool today! (Notice Maddie is hanging on to that rope for dear life!)

Dance is my life!

This was Maddie's comment to me after we went to Showstoppers National Dance Championships! Maddie has been dancing at The Dance Factory for 3 years. She loves all of her friends from The Petite Company and her teacher Ms. Margo. We had a lot of fun in San Antonio! We were a little limited on our activities, because of my recent surgery. We were able to catch up with some of our friends. We had dinner st Chuy's with Royce's best friend Travis and his sweet family. The next day Maddie and I did some shopping while poor Dad worked. We were able to get some school clothes for my future Kindergartner and meet up with my friend Bridget and her daughter Raygan. I took Maddie to Libby Lu where she had her hair and make up done. She had a blast!!

The girls did a great job dancing for the judges! They all love dancing in front of the judges and audience. They also had fun on the riverwalk! Be patient with me as I start to blog!
